Helix - Swiss Army Knife

An Elementary Formula/Wizard Created By
Kay Großweischede & Hannes Beiersdorf

Last Update: Version 1.1 Released May 6th, 2006

What Is It? The "Helix Swiss Army Knife" is a very advanced helix wizard/formula for Gravimetric Studios' Elementary. It will allow you to create complex helicies with angled lead-ins and lead-outs, varying height throughout the element, and a variable radius.

Advanced users can take a peek at the actual formula and use a few "extra" variables which allow you to create some truely unique shapes (some of which you might not even consider to be a helix). The variables in the formula are commented, but you will need to understand what you are reading to really put it to use. Of course, just using some random numbers is always fun too...

For an example of what you can do with this, be sure to check out U. S. Magic Carpet Ride at CoasterSims.com (free login required). More than 90% of the track was created with this tool.

Support: Hey.. This stuff isn't for newcomers. It is provided for free with no guarantee of any sort. If you need help with it, your best bet is to make a post in the coaster sim related web site forum of your choice and hope that one of the authors is around and willing to answer your question.

Requirements: NoLimits Elementary For Windows From Gravimetric Studios (a free download).
