I wanted to do a wild mouse coaster as a change of pace. It is a bit different in that it has a curved lift with drive tires. It follows a compact layout with the traditional wild mouse drops and flat short radius turns. It does have some laterals but think under 2g's so that is within the limits published in ASTM F24.

The ride ends with a helix, and has a seperate unload and load to help keep the trains moving.

Will be uploading images and stats shortly so check out often.

9/2/06 update: Changed the layout a little bit. The rides ending helix was changed to make it smoother and more compact. Also tweaked a little of the rest of the ride. All turns have less than 2 lateral g's which is where I want to be at. Supports still have alot of work left to do. Working on the lift hill. Added a few pictures to show progress. Notice the new top view and compared with the old. Also look at the 3d view and a pic of the end of the ride helix.

9/11/06 update:

Added some more supports and revised a few more. The supports are now green to stand out more of the rest of the track. Added two more photos to show progress

9/18/06 update: With verson 1.6 of No Limits out, thought it would be a great opportunity to convert this wild mouse coaster, into a spinning wild mouse coaster. So wen with the Gerstlauer spinning coaster type. So I determined what sections of the ride it should spin. Also added some more supports and 4 pics to show the progress of the ride so far.

9/25/06 update:

Changed the support style to go with a more realistic yet more simplistic supports. This although required eliminating the work I had done with the other supports, but these simpler supports should be easy to construct. So no real delays on when this should be done. Also have to varify that the starts are correct, and will calculate theoretical capacity. Also did some minor tweaks on dynamics, etc.
Added a few more pics to show progress. changed color scheme also again.

10/15/06 update:

Supports are really coming along now. The lift, first drop, high banked turn, and part of the wild mouse turns now have supports. The support style is now the more traditional wild mouse support structure instead of the box supports. The ride should be coming together in the next few weeks. Also will finish up determing the final stats for the ride such as capacity, etc. Uploaded 4 pictures to show the progress of the ride.

11/11/06 update:

supporst are almost done, with only the helix left to support. Should be done in a few weeks, no later than end by end of the month. Added a picture of the ride during the night while support work was being done. Enjoy

ride has a few supports left, going to be done tomorrow likely. 3 more pics.

11/25/06:

Finally done, hope you like it.
